Privacy / LocalBench

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LocalBench processes locally, what our hosting server records, and how Google advertising and consent choices affect your information.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Tool input stays in your browser

LocalBench tools process timestamps, Base64 text, images, and pixel-scramble passwords locally in your browser. The tools do not upload this input to our server. There are no accounts, tool databases, or server-side conversion endpoints.

Closing or refreshing a tab discards the current working state unless you explicitly save or copy the result. Your browser or operating system may retain files you choose to download.

Server logs

When you request a page or static asset, our web server records technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, user agent, referrer, and forwarding headers when present. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and abuse prevention.

Nginx access logs are rotated daily or when they reach the configured size threshold. Up to 30 rotated log files are retained, compressed, and then removed by the server's log-retention policy.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to support the site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, mobile identifiers, IP addresses, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, measure, and limit the frequency of ads, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

Whether advertising is personalized depends on your consent, regional requirements, Google settings, and available advertising signals. The site's own tools do not read advertising cookies or send your tool input to Google.

Google Privacy Policy

Consent and your choices

This site is configured to load Google Funding Choices, Google's consent-management platform, alongside AdSense. Where required and when enabled in the site's AdSense privacy-messaging settings, Google displays a message that lets you accept, reject, or manage advertising purposes and partners.

You can change a choice through the privacy-options message supplied by Google when it is available. You can also manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings and block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies or advertising scripts does not prevent the local tools from working, although some consent controls may be unavailable.

Third-party services and international processing

Google processes information under its own privacy policy and may process data in countries other than yours. We do not control Google's independent retention practices. This policy does not cover websites you reach through external links.

Security and policy updates

We use HTTPS, restricted server access, security headers, log rotation, and software updates to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the site, advertising configuration, or legal requirements change; the revision date below reflects the latest version.
